Let’s see what brought the sparkle this week!
On Saturday, I lost my mind and started tearing my room apart, specifically my closet and bookcase, which were complete disasters. I just put on some Samantha Ravndahl vids and went to town purging stuff, re-organizing, and dusting. Now, being in my room actually feels almost relaxing!
One of the other things I organized over the weekend was an overflowing accordion folder of photos. Not only did it look frustratingly disorganized, but it was also bending my photos! Not cool!
I had already sorted and categorized the pictures, so I didn’t want to just dump them in a box. Enter this colorful organizer from Michael’s! Cute and functional? Sign me up! It worked out perfectly!
I’ve inadvertently been working through my collection of Zoya Pixe Dust polishes, and I can’t recommend them highly enough, especially if you think you’re “bad” at painting your nails. Since they’re textured, you don’t even need a top coat—just slap on two coats of the Pixie Dust, give it a little time to dry, and then it looks amazing for a solid week. Also, Pixie Dusts aren’t at all hard to remove, unlike typical glitter polishes. “Tomoko” is a forever fave, but now I’m in loooove with “Stevie.” Lavender glitter?! Could there be a better Sparkle Punch color?! I can’t believe it took me so long to finally wear it!
On Tuesday, I went out on a school night (*gasp*) when Pops and I went to the Phillies-Dodgers game! Baseball really isn’t my jam, but Pops loves the Dodgers (and all things California), so here we are. The game was sort of dull (aside from the Phanatic, of course) until a brief rain delay + lead change in the ninth inning. At least it’s always nice to soak up the ambience at CBP!
Lastly, ICYMI Saturday was my FIFTH BLOGIVERSARY!! Time flies when you’re having fun! :)
Hope you have a great weekend! xo
